Warwick 2014

Please find below scores and images used in the PAGB Inter Club PDI Championship 2014 Held at Wawrick University. Three Judges scored up to 5 for each image thus being a max of 15 points. As you can see by the table below Gill Mackay scored the max for her image Feeling Shy. Also Andrew Weaver scored 14 for his image Losing It. Very well done in deed to them and all those who supply me with images

ACE OF PRINTS 2014

Ace of Prints  06/07/2014  (approx prints)
What an exciting comp this was after the first round of 12 prints Tenby was in 1st position leading the vale by 1 point. We had 2x9pts 2x10pts 1x11pts 4x12pts 2x13pts and 1x14pts out of a possible 15pts
In the Final round we had to enter 15 prints which we scored 1x9 1x10 1x11 8x12 2x13 2x15
Only 4 15’s was awarded in the competition and Tenby got 2 of them and these prints were by Jill Baxter who also was awarded the colour print of the comp with Tess
A very well done Jill
After the final round Tenby was pipped at the post By Ebbw Vale by 1 point

Below is a peace off the WPF web Page

 would like to congratulate the winners of the Ace of Prints. The Winners were: 
1st – Ebbw Vale
2nd – Tenby
3rd – Western Valley
     
Ebbw Vale and Tenby Will represent the WPF at the PAGB Inter-club Print Championshipsat Ormskirk in October. Western Valley were awarded the Plate as there was no separate Plate Competition.
Other awards:
Best Mono – Standing Room Only – Peter Stickler – Swansea
Best Colour – Tess – Jill Baxter – Tenby
 
Judges’ Choices: 
John Chamberlain – Alone In The Woods by John Cooke of Western Valley
Roger Parry – Agoraphobia by Gary Howells of Ebbw Vale. 
Judith Parry – No You Can’t by Eric Williams of Newport.  
Competing Clubs: Bridgend, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, Llanelli, Newport, Port Talbot, Swansea, Tenby, The Vale, Towy Valley and Western Valley.
I Would like to take this opportunity to thank the clubs that entered this year’s Ace of Prints competition, it  would be nice to see a longer list of entries for next year. Maybe one of the federation clubs could host the event to bring it to your local area. If your club would like to host one the Memorial Trophy or the Ace of Clubs, please let me know.
