Visit to Carew 23rd May 2013

TENBY AND DISTRICT CAMERA CLUB

A challenging evening 23rd May for the clubs summer workshop photographers was a visit to Carew Mill. Ray Hines the tutor for this workshops asked members to look at landscapes and to consider the unusual, try different techniques using different apertures and shutter speeds. The weather turned very cold and lots of grey sky tested the photographer’s skill.

On Thursday evening 30th May members met at the Jameston Village community Hall where Ray asked members to discuss their images and in turn he gave his own view on how and why the image could be improved. It was a useful evening with the club members looking forward to next weeks shoot in Tenby when the subject will be ‘Twilight Images.
