Print and Digital of the year

TENBY AND DISTRICT CAMERA CLUB

The last print and digital competition for the 2012/2013 winter season took place on Thursday 28^th March at the club meeting held at the community hall – St Florence.

The judge for the evening was Brian Sewell ARPS AWPF from the Bridgend Camera Club.

Brian’s task was to choose the print and digital image of the year, all entries were those that had gained a 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd place in the previous competitions held over the winter season. In 1^st place for the print section was Jill Baxter’s ‘Grey Heron with Nesting Material’, first place in the digital section was Gary Jenkins with ‘Osprey with Catch’. The judge gave valued and constructive comment to all images entered and because of the high standard several 2^nd’s and 3^rd’s were awarded, congratulations to all.

At the Welsh Salon Held at Pontypridd Museum, Roy Peters with his print image ‘It is Good New’s’ received a highly commended with several acceptances in both print and digital. Well done to all members who entered this Welsh competition.
